About the company
Daikin is a Japanese multinational headquartered in Osaka and one of the oldest players in the cooling industry, with roots back to 1924. It is the world’s largest air-conditioner manufacturer and the only company to produce both air-conditioning systems and the refrigerants used in them. Beyond cooling equipment, Daikin is also a major producer of fluorochemicals and is considered one of the largest PFAS manufacturers globally.
